My education is in product design, however my career began in computer games. Moving into mobile and web development brought a keen sense of User Interface design, and a strict discipline to elicit the most out of platforms with increadible constraints. Flash Forward to today, my breadth of work covers Illustration, Product design, Computer Generated imagery, motion graphics, website development, iPhone and mobile application design.

Full Focus Photography

In my spare time, and thanks largely to a mix of skills developed in the games industry and product visualisation, I work for a company called Full Focus Photography retouching some of her shoots. Retouching [not to be confused with touching up] is a mix of illustration, imagination and spatial awareness.

It requires no small degree of creativity and an undertstadning of the dynamic realtionships with objects to space, light and reflection. It also involves a lot of cheating! I enjoy this work, for both the challenge and the reward. Here are two images from a recent shoot, having already be retouched.

I had mixed feelings about this film, and was quite frankly underwhelmed by the first teaser trailer. However my curiosity has got the better of me and the more I find out about the film the more I am staggered by the sheer technology and scale behind it, but don't take my word for it.
